Teachers (All Levels)
We currently have multiple openings for Special Education Certified teachers, including an opening for a high school math teacher. This is a ten month/full time position. The hours are 7:30 am to 3:30 pm Monday - Thursday; 7:30 am - 3:00 pm Friday. 

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of subject area, content and teaching methodology
  • Massachusetts license in:
    • Moderate Disabilities – All levels (multiple positions)
    • Secondary Subject Area – Math (high school math position)
  • Experience teaching in a special education setting
  • Ability to work both collaboratively and independently
  • Understanding of therapeutic milieu and classroom management strategies
  • Strong communication, organization, and writing skills

Assistant Teachers
We currently have multiple Assistant Teacher openings in each of our programs for the 2017-2018 school year. This is a ten month/full time position. The hours are 7:30 am to 3:30 pm Monday - Thursday; 7:30 am - 3:00 pm Friday. 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Experience with children/adolescents in a special education setting preferred
  • Ability to develop an understanding of special needs population and therapeutic milieu
  • Proven interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work both collaboratively and independently
  • Strong communication skills


Woodshop/Carpentry Teacher

There is one opening for a ten month/full time position. The hours are 7:30 am to 3:30 pm Monday - Thursday; 7:30 am - 3:00 pm Friday. 


Qualifications:

Candidates should be licensed or have the ability to gain license from the Massachusetts Department of Secondary Education (DESE). Plan and deliver effective Construction Skills lessons and units aligned with MA Curriculum Frameworks to Lower, Middle, and High School students.

LICSW or LMHC

We currently have LICSW or LMHC positions available for our 2017-2018 school year. This is a 12 month/full time position. The hours are 7:30 am to 3:30 pm Monday-Thursday; 7:30 am - 3:00 pm Friday.

Qualifications:
  • Advanced degree in social work or related clinical field, LICSW or LMHC equivalent licensure
  • Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience working with children/adolescents
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Proven communication, organization, and writing skills
  • Ability to work both collaboratively and independently
  • Understanding of the therapeutic milieu
