Kenneth L. Coleman

Ken Coleman is the President of The Gifford School Board. A native Californian and Stanford graduate, Ken came to Boston in 1979 to attend Harvard Business School and has been here ever since. Since working with Bain and Company in the early 1980’s, Ken has spent his career in senior executive and consulting roles with start-up and early stage companies in the Boston area.  Over the years, Ken has been involved in nearly a dozen start-up ventures and over twenty acquisitions. As a volunteer, Ken is also Treasurer of The Herren Project, a non-profit started by former NBA player Chris Herren that helps deter teens from substance abuse and addiction.  Ken is also on the advisory board of IDEA, Northeastern University’s student-run start-up venture accelerator.
