Admissions

Gifford serves more than 100 students grades 4 through high school. We maintain collaborative relationships with over 60 referring school districts within a 50 mile radius. Students may start at any point throughout the school year or during our summer program.  

Students must be found eligible for special education services by their school district and referred to Gifford as the first step in the admissions process. Once the public school system has made a referral, parents and guardians contact Gifford’s Admissions Office to come for an initial meeting and tour. If all parties agree that this is a potentially good placement for the student, then the student comes back to visit with the parents.
